Proposal: Carolina/Minnesota blockbuster

Because that's what it costs to acquire top talent like Rantanen and Slavin. I mean, I don't like it for Carolina either and hope it doesn't happen...but none of these guys are being moved for magic beans or a package of "meh."

Superstar trades cost superstar assets...and that's why we never see them happen.

Rantanen is a free agent and isn't better than kaprizov whose still has 1 year left and wild will pay to keep. Brodin is also a total stud who it seems no one knows anything about. Sorry but a player like Rantanen whose a free agent will never ever get a player like Kaprizov whose a Franchise. To treat Brodin like he's nothing though is funny. He's a stud and who Faber plays with. Brodin shuts down every team best player includng Connor MCDavid, lol

Not to mention that LD spot next to Faber will be occupied by Zeev Buium very soon. Then we have Brodin/Middleton/Chisholm to figure out the last 2 LD lineup spots.

The disrespect of Brodin on here by Carolina fans is laughable. Brodin isn't much of a downgrade from Slavin. Just proves people don't watch Brodin. Brodin is one of the best Shutdown Dman in the NHL. Lol he along with Spurgeon has single handedly shut down Connor McDavid numerous times.
