was looking up some stats just now... guess who is first in the league in PK% since 2018-19 season (Rod's first year)
The team that’s been under 60% in their final series in 2 of their last 3 playoff appearances?

Lets give credit where it due also. Calgary took us off our game a bit and really pinned us down in notable stretches. We're a good team too though, and good teams can win games in which they were outplayed, outshot, or otherwise at some disadvantage. The Flames brought it and we still won the day.Glad to see I wasn’t the only one thinking this was some of the ugliest hockey of the season. If someone didn’t know who was coaching the Flames, they could have guessed it from seeing 5 minutes of that game.

Thank God we won’t have to face teams like Tampa and Boston in the playoffs.Vs. Boston and Tampa, aka. two of the most lethal PP units in recent seasons. That skews the results a little bit. Overall, though, our PK's been fantastic under Brindy.

I'm not implying that, LOL! I'm saying that these should be called learning experiences. Our core is still incredibly young.
What you’re implying is nebulous. BDC was saying that as good as the PK has been, it’s been an Achilles heel in the playoffs vs TB and Boston. It’s not “skewing results”. In the playoffs you play the best teams and relying on a great regular season PK hasn’t worked.
You're more than welcome to keep bumping the thread that I have going.
But obviously the turbine intervention was even prettier. Truly cherubian.DIVINE INTERVENTION.
I doubt we see anymore of the Flames power play tonight. No more PKs for the night please
Lindholm and Hanifin look really good as Flames. Maybe not as good as us, but still, they've certainly have made their share of success in the two most recent seasons. We'll see how they match up against us, but hopefully we're still the better team.
So the OP posits this is Carolina vs Carolina west, and the team missing 2 players due to Covid comes out with more players catching Covid (Covid vs Covid west?)
The only possible conclusion is that this is all the fault of @TheRillestPaulFenton .
