Hey- those of you who were at the last Cup parade in 2006- what was it like? A lot of fun? Overrated and kinda boring? Really crowded, parking hassle, etc?

Trying to figure out if its worth it to hang out in town all week waiting for it.

Hey guys hope it’s ok to visit.
Congratulations on the cup victory!’

There’s a lot of love from Jets land (because of Winnipegger Jarvis as well as former Jet Ehlers both of whom are very loved - Jarvis is a super good dude and Ehlers holds a special place in many fans hearts esp mine, any future cup runs you’ll have a lot of people from Jets land bandwagoning)

Our org as a small market has a lot to learn from what your org has done to become successful

We also really dislike Vegas so while we weren’t able to celebrate as much as if we were long time fans of the Canes, you have a lot of support from Jets fans world wide and will in the future.

A super likeable team, organization, fanbase, and everyone I have ever met from your area has been very friendly; you guys aren’t really jerks!

Enjoy the celebrations!! Congrats once again 🥳

last one was at the stadium so there was a ton of parking, was still pretty great. Don't think it'll come close to this one though.

Underrated bit of poignancy: since the Wolves are still in the Calder Cup final, we really had a “normal” roster, and that made the celebration that much more special. The only guys that didn’t dress and had to join the team from the locker room were guys that were legitimately on the team. No black aces awkwardly hanging around. Didn’t need them.

Another funny thing: we were so dominant that there really aren’t the same stories of rivalry or hatred like in ‘06. The closest we got was the shit talk from Habs fans after Game 1.

But the reason we remember that Buffalo series. The Montreal series coming back from down 2-0. Edmonton, Pronger, Pisani. The reason is because they actually played us close.

The Canes dominated so much this year that the opponents barely made the story. The story was the team. The players, the approach, the system, the machine. Marner Game 3 was the closest. And even then we managed to make the Game 3 loss a story of triumph. We turned the whole series around in that loss.

It’s like all the virtue of a Rocky movie but no drama in the fight at the end. Rocky just comes out swinging and never gets hit.
