Svech does look a bit out of place there, but we need him to be in the Top 6 and we KNOW he doesn't work well with Aho.

He played a good game. Team also played better defense in front of him than they have lately. He’s got a little Mrazek in him, in terms of being a bit wild in net. If teams get more tape on him, his commitment (often overcommitment) to the first pass will likely be exploited.
Also, his nickname is apparently Ticker.

Ah, that’s the schism that’s appeared in the locker room and caused this recent slump. And Svech, being caught between his linemate and his hype man, has had a terrible start because of it. It all makes sense.

Honestly that play was pretty simple, Seth Jarvis is the most underrated two-way player in the league right now and he showed why in that sequence.

He's fairly popular on the hockey podcast circuit and on Sirius. Now, how much of that is due to his personality vs his skill set, I can't say.
In a recent The Athletic article, I was surprised to see Cory defending Jarvis and his selection to the Four Nations team. I didn't realize that there had been blowback about it.
