There are posters here who always blame Price on deflections in the slot. Most are virtually unstoppable.
I didn't say it was on Price... We were in full control, they had like 4 shots the whole period and then this blunder...

These things get magnified since the team can't score.
Good news is that the habs have shown the ability to come back from these types of games and push them to OT multiple times. It's just frustrating to have such a low margin for error though.

Most strategies revolve around taking away the goalies eyes and trying to deflect pucks.

We actually played a good period. It was much better than the first, but, yeah, we can't score. And, that's on Bergevin. The players are playing hard and doing their best. I can't fault them for that.
Bergevin has had 5 years to deal with the top 6 and hasn't done it. He keeps waiting for "development" except we don't develop top 6 players.
Anyways, third is our best period, so let's hope they can at least pick-up another point. Carolina though is very good defensively.

If he plays one properly two is no longer an issue.
I despised it from day 1 with all the unbearable promo. I've received a beat down ever since and they've sucked all the hate I had. I'm just numb now.

We had a pretty good period there but yeah, definitely a noticeable difference in their urgency when the stakes are high. I guess that's positive, we all know this team is going to have all hands on deck in the playoffs, but it'd be nice to just enjoy a little less stress before then
