I think the toughness upgrades on D and in our supporting cast will help though. Same with the fact that we have some players capable of giving secondary scoring for real now not stiffs like Engvall and Kerfoot just filling space. Our goalies aren't at the level or experience of a Swayman or Bobrovsky so they are a huge question mark and crucial to success. But yeah our forwards better give it there all.

100% this. These are the guys taking up a massive chunk of our cap space, so it should be expected that they make a massive contribution in the playoffs.

Yeah 2002 was almost glorious.

If the Leafs had scored in overtime myself and a couple of buddies were going to be heading down to Carolina for game 7.

We'd beaten the embargo. They were trying to keep Leaf fans from flooding the building so they were only selling tickets to people with local addresses, but I had family down there who bought the tickets for us.
