The Waffler
Is that a Titleist?
I’d be more disappointed if they were blown out in every game. They were all close and all winnable. More frustrating that way, but what a weird season this was from start to finish. Lots to be happy about.
So what? We're ONLY the 16th best team in a 32 team league? Is that your point? What makes you happy? Conference finals or better every year, otherwise all our best players blow chunks? This team has nothing of note in a playoff game that matters. Down 3-0 two years in a row.
A non-factor. Happy to be here. Stutzle has 1 assist in meaningful playoff games. That’s his resume.
Remember when people were shitting on Ek as a captain where is your captain emotion in the playoffs?
Or on ice play or effort ?
Maybe. Carolina has control the whole series though. Yes the games were close but the series was not close at all.I’d be more disappointed if they were blown out in every game. Disagree. There is literally not much worse this team could have been. I truly don't understand what it could possibly take.
We gave the keys to Tkachuk way too early and it affected the whole coreOur current scouting staff would have passed up EK in 2008 for a "playoff player" like Tyler Cuma
How is there lots to be happy about? What makes you think this team is going to improve next year? Sure, they could make the playoffs, but if this is what we have in store when we get in?I’d be more disappointed if they were blown out in every game. They were all close and all winnable. How many posts did he get? When I see Stutzle get dispossessed by little stick checked and misplacing passes. He played bad. Thats it. If you can’t even watch them and say who played poorly then what the f***.
Stu's productivity was shameful and he knows it but he was clearly the fastest players on the ice that tried to generate chances. He was snakebitten. How about we get him some players that can actually keep up with him for start? BrilliantA non-factor. Happy to be here. Stutzle has 1 assist in meaningful playoff games. That’s his resume.

It was way better when we started taking their heads off. But then oh no no more of thatWithout Zub or Sandy there is no chance...
It was impossible to get the puck out of the zone for long stretches. Even worse our transition game was nullified in the neutral zone.
Disagree.
We at least kept the games close and didn't get blown out every game. We shut down Canes top line and our defenders played their asses off. Didn't see us getting caved in our own zone against a team that has a very good forecheck. Our 3 losses looked worse than Pens or Kings 3 losses. Having said that, Ottawa, LA, and Pittsburgh are all competing to see who is the most buns lol
Yes. As a star player you need to score. Theres no f***ing point for hitting posts in the playoffs. How many posts did he get?
If someone hits several posts a game, did they play bad?
He's the straw that stirs on a team that got heavily shut down. Of course he looked bad. Do you think if we gave any other player on our team the puck as much do you think they would have performed better? Like maybe bath should have handled the break in?
If I can say one thing, I believe everything behind our blueline is already mostly in place. How is there lots to be happy about? What makes you think this team is going to improve next year? Sure, they could make the playoffs, but if this is what we have in store when we get in?

I do agree with some of your points regarding the defense. And hopefully ullmark has turned the corner. If I can say one thing, I believe everything behind our blueline is already mostly in place.
Ullmark played well. The defense had ups and downs, but largely kept Carolina in check and we had some unfortunate injuries. In an ideal situation, with Zub and Sandy and Chabot all healthy, I don't think there's anything we need to change back there.
Do we run it back? No, but our failings this series looked pretty damn apparent; it's at least not an 'everything sucks' situation.
Maybe expound on what makes you so happy about this season. Just seems like a stupid comment sorryGet off the ledge pal lol
Crybaby. There's 32 teams. On average we should win EVERY 32 f***ING YEARS. So if you want to be a crybaby for 31 of every 32 year stretch where we don't win, be my guest.lol no
How about having a lead for at least a second in a playoff game? Maybe at least win one single game before Game 4 in one of these years?
We haven’t played a competitive series in 9 years. Why are you acting like Sens fans are some greedy, spoiled bunch. We’re not f***ing Chicago or Pittsburgh lol.
Btw it’s also not exactly likely that we’re going to get a divisional spot next year either so these excuses are going to get milked to f***ing death.
The issue is how much. Enter can we get. Like do you think Brady and stutzle in their mid twenties have some untapped potential? No body wants to face this but they’re not exactly ultra young. If I can say one thing, I believe everything behind our blueline is already mostly in place.
