Hank did something he hasn't always been able to do in his career. He gave up a terrible goal and shut it down afterwards. Kudos, proud of him. Also McDonagh was great in my eyes, agreed?
In his career? Lol.
Pretty sure he's given up plenty of bad 1st goals only to settle down and beast his way through the rest of the game.
He is certainly on pace for another 20+ goal season, but I doubt we can resign him - he will ask for 4 mil $ + - hopefully Gorton can get another 1st for him.Grabner has been such a great signing. 27 goals last year and 13 already this year plus all the other stuff he does, all for a couple mil a year.
He can be a second or third or 4th liner on my team any day of the week
Nash is done with us. We need his money elsewhere.
Lmao, come on Snowblind.I said not always, not never.
Idk, if EK is set on getting his value, he's gonna get a 12m+ AAV somewhere. We'd need to move more than just Staal and Nash to bring him in. That would be amazing though, could you imagine? With the Nash and Staal contracts gone the Rangers could go all in on EK when times come. He wont be signing with OTT again and NYC would be a great fit for him.
To be honest, I don't remember the way he exited the team (I really should have a better recollection) but he was a very skilled player and he was doing things all us Rangers fans had been starved for seeing. I really wanted Zherdev to stick, just don't remember as I should what really happened. Was it a feeling that his defensive game was not where it should be, was it a line chemistry, or system thing?BTW, I'm not some super Zherdev fan but did anyone else think Al's "it did not propel him to greatness" comment was a low blow? He was the most exciting and possibly best forward on that 08-09 team.
lol what no. He was just being frank.BTW, I'm not some super Zherdev fan but did anyone else think Al's "it did not propel him to greatness" comment was a low blow? He was the most exciting and possibly best forward on that 08-09 team.

And playing with countryman Hank.
Regarding Zherdev, look at these highlights. I think there may be one forwarded as talented as him on our roster now in Buchnevich, maybe Zibanejad and Nash (definitely Nash of a few years ago). Zherdev gave me possibly the best memory at MSG, that last goal that he scored in that video against the Pens was a game I went to. Now that I think of it, it's probably that neanderthal Torts that ran him out of town.
