Carolina fails to convert on a 3 on 0.

  • We sincerely apologize for the extended downtime. Our hosting provider, XenForo Cloud, encountered a major issue with their backup system, which unfortunately resulted in the loss of some critical data from the past year.

    What This Means for You:

    • If you created an account after March 2024, it no longer exists. You will need to sign up again to access the forum.
    • If you registered before March 2024 but changed your email, username, or password in the past year, those changes were lost. You’ll need to update your account details manually once you're logged in.
    • Threads and posts created within the last year have been restored.
    • Our 2025 light and dark themes were lost, so we are rebuilding them. Light theme is currently available, but work in progress

Our team is working with Xenforo Cloud to recover data using backups, sitemaps, and other available resources. We know this is frustrating, and we deeply regret the impact on our community. We are taking steps with Xenforo Cloud to ensure this never happens again. This is work in progress. Thank you for your patience and support as we work through this.

Not really a 3-0, as the trailing man was stride-for-stride with a Wing defender right next to him.

Mrazek played it really well to wait until the 2-0 ran out of room, and then take away the side of the net that the shot was forced to come from.
If there's any goalie I'm expecting to make a save on a 2-0 rush, it's the twitchy bastard that is Petr Mrazek.

If this is the play being referred to, I agree with tarheelhockey that it was really a 2-on-0.

Yeah hardly threadworthy. Scoring on a play like that where they have pressure behind them is hardly automatic.

Also looks like it was a totally flubbed/shanked shot moreso than a save made on the play

Mikko would have buried it. Another reminder of the epic blunder by genius boy Tulsky and the Canes. Such an embarrassing franch…. Oh they’ve won 6 games in a row? Nevermind then
Doesn't bode well for the yoffs, big breezy needs to change up the Patrik Laines to get more big snips from the yobs

Not surprised…2/3 on 0 plays have a habit of turning into a game of hot potato where everyone wants a teammate to score and nobody shoots til they’re on/past the goal line. That, or someone flubs a pass that gets overskated and it’s a 4/5 on 2 going the other way.
