I'll just say that if the Munich conference of 1938 wasn't a total betrayal, the Czech would've probably beaten the Jerries silly with their outstanding Maginot-esque fortress line and better artillery, and likely collapsed a Mr Shickelgruber's aspirations of supremacy, but that wasn't to be, due to the incredible stupidity of powers that be then. If Mods allow this wee sidetrack.
So, when you drink to us, you can pour a big one for yourself too, dear Sir my man. The Czech republic in the 1930s was an example for all of Europe of a difficult but well working democracy. And it got betrayed again in 1948 by a minority armed coup but that's history again. Now we're here, whew.
