CHI fans whining about on-call on Aho right after we got mugged several times with no call...consider it a wash?
Absolutely. That was def a penalty on Aho but we were owed many in that 3rd

Hawks get 20 shots in the third.
This is the NHL. Teams don't just roll over and quit.

I do wonder if Dundon isn't going to put some pressure on to make some kind of change if the team keeps letting easy wins get close and letting points in the standings slip away.
Especially now with Haula gone for a while, there seems to be a veteran calming presence needed they just don't have right now.
Need Willy. J Staal is a good guy and good leader but he’s not the rallying, hold people accountable type. He’s quite and stoic and is a nice guy and expects everyone to do their job in tough spots. We do need a veteran leader for this group
Rule 76.2, paragraph 11That sucks.

Yes, let's shake up this team that just swept a road trip of three games or longer *for the first time in franchise history*. This place is getting as bad as Facebook.
Rule 76.2, paragraph 11
Following a stoppage of play, should one or both defensemen who are the point players or any player coming from the bench of the attacking team, enter into the attacking zone beyond the outer edge of the end zone face-off circle during an altercation, gathering or “scrum,” the ensuing face-off shall take place in the neutral zone near the blue line of the defending team. This rule also applies when an icing, an intentional off-side, or a high-sticking the puck violation (by the team of greater numerical strength of its opponent) has occurred, and the ensuing face-off is to be in the offending team’s defending zone. Should any of the non-offending players enter into the attacking zone beyond the outer edge of the end zone face-off circle during an altercation, gathering or “scrum,” the ensuing face-off shall take place in the neutral zone near the blue line of the defending team.
Is the rule.
They just got a gift power play with under five minutes left.
I guess Staal is just a placeholder captain for the next few years so it is what it is but I think the team is good enough to make more damage this post season and they could use a guy like Willy back to be a vocal leader. Like his brother, Staal doesn’t seem to be that type. I know we have the captain of captains in Rod on the bench too but it’s a you g squad and sometimes you need a second or third voice

Quitters never win and winners never quit.Because of the way live threads are weird on mobile, this post kept showing up no matter what page of the thread I clicked on and I was like “geez we get it Hank, parity, calm down.”
Quitters never win and winners never quit.
We're a better team when Wallmark is in our top nine. He's very, very, very underrated. He, Nino and Necas were excellent tonight. If he keeps it up, we won't miss Haula as much. The definition of a 200-foot player.
