Reimer is a better fit for this series. Rest up Mrazek. Boston has been successful in feeding picks through the slot. Makes Petr look like he's on a slip and slide.

I love Mrazek but Rod would have to be taking crazy pills to go back to him on Saturday.

I know it's just the ECHL but I remember the South Carolina Stingrays in the 2009 Kelly Cup playoffs basically gave their 2 goalies the net until one lost a game then they would trade off. One of those goaltenders then was James Reimer and the coach who employed this strategy was Colorado's Jared Bednar. They won the Kelly Cup that year. Wouldn't be upset with a similar setup here.

I wonder if a lot of our lack of forecheck this series has to do with Boston truly being in our heads. If that's the case, finally winning one does a lot to shift the momentum in the series.

That or all the blatant interference with our forwards.

The second one was a ridiculous pass. The third one was another great look coming around from underneath.

the only remaining team I wouldn’t play Reimer against is Montreal. He has a bad record vs them.

B's board saying the Canes rely on lucky bounces and bad officiating. Talk about a lack of awareness!
B's run picks, interference or just about anything they can get away with in playoff hockey. I don't mind the extra physicality, but I hate that refs decide to throw back to 1975 during the playoffs.
Reimer had a nice save %, but was really shaky with controlling the rebounds. He will be better if Rod gives him the next start.
I know TT scored, but man, he does play soft. Aho and Svech, on the other hand, are beasts.

Interesting how Boston fans feels that Carolina is relying on bad calls that referees makes. To me it sounds like Hurricanes haven't really benefited all that much of the way referees have whistled in these two games.
