The laughable draft compensation is the real icing on the cake, to me. Just for that reason alone, I have no idea why Montreal didn't match. The Bruins, Penguins, and Blackhawks were so overpowered in NHL 94, had a rule in college that if you got beat by one of the shit teams in that game while using one of them you had to buy the beer for the rest of the week.
