is nishikin locked into a rookie contract? I would throw a lot of money at him to ensure he comes over if that is permitted under CBA.

I believe that Nikishin is locked into a 2 year ELC, since he will be 23 when the season starts and we will already be in the postseason when the KHL season ends.

I like Robinson, but we really gotta load balance our 4th line grinders. Staal, Martinook, Carrier, Robinson, Jankowski now, that’s a lot of guys fitting the grinder mold.

I think robinson can play up if paired with right linemates. i liked the idea of him with aho and svech/jarvis however long term the answer is ......Brady Tkachuk.
