The issue with Jost, having seen him with us and Rochester for a couple years:

He is just so incredibly average at most everything: Average skater. Average shooter. Average passer. Average in his own zone. Average IQ. Below average physicality.

Most guys that play in the NHL, IMO, have at least ONE thing they can hang their hat on. Jost is just.....there. Doesn't actively hurt the team, but also doesn't do much to actively help the team.

The Roland McKeown (ironically another player I was high on in his draft) of forwards. Jack of all trades, master of none.

McKeown was a player I was absolutely sure would have a long career as a middle-pair type. He was like a genetic experiment to produce the most perfectly average player.

How that turned into a 16 game career will never make sense to me. Guy hit his ceiling at 22.
