In the moment I was hoping he was playing it up for a call, maybe not realizing it was his own players ass that clocked him. He is prone to dramatics at times. Watching him get lead off the ice would’ve required some real commitment to the role though. Wouldn’t shock me either way.
Playing it up wouldn't have involved absolutely zero movement on Kochetkov's part.

For a brief moment I wondered too, but the complete lack of any movement made me realize he had to be out cold. Very few people could remain completely motionless on the ice like that for that long.

I didn't see this game, only the Kochetkov replay. What did KK do in these 2 situations?

He was absolutely responsible for the 2nd goal. Necas entered the zone, passed it to KK along the wall, who got pressured, shot it into Marchenko, and then Marchenko went by him and scored. Though I'd question where the defensemen were at the time for that to happen.

The 1st goal was a little more difficult to parse. It started with Burns along the wall entering the zone, passing it to Necas going down the middle, then Necas gets stripped from behind. The play swings the other way, and it was a 2-on-2 exiting the offensive zone. It became a 2-on-1 because someone missed the hit at that blueline. I thought it was Robinson that missed that hit, but if he says it was KK, I guess it was.

He flipped KK and Drury in the lineup after that, and KK did make up for it a bit by getting the primary assist on Blake's goal (he blocked a clearing attempt, then passed it to Blake who was coming down the middle on a reload).
