If you have been in SAP center then you would know the Bay Area HOF is very prominent. It just is not visible on tv inside the arena. I do think a ring for just Sharks would be a nice touch but maybe that could be something they save for when they eventually get a new building.

New Building? Please don't say that. The only way a sport franchise gets a new building in the Bay Area is to build one with owners money or to move a new city in east coast. I don't want the Sharks to move from SJ. I stopped supporting the A's after they moved!

They could maybe get away with building one in the back parking lot. Granted parking during the construction would be a nightmare.

Calgary oldest (without renovation, MSG otherwise). And they're building new one.

MSG had recent $1.5b upgrade, but city/county/state pushing for relocation to expand railroad station it's built on top of.

Ottawa working to get new building.

SJ city and Sharks have kept arena up to date. But concourse crowded. Lease expires this year, but I've heard no announcement about extension. Besides Hasso loves the arena.

Man. Cooch was the definition of gamer. Even in those 6 games with compromised mobility you were reminded just how good he was. Sorry to see it end like this but glad he will be ok going forward.

Sharks likes to line up STH for promo stuff at that location. I would not be too happy to pay for a new building. I guess fans that live outside the city wouldn't mind.

Couture was a great Shark and fun to watch. He will be missed at the games. In his early years with the Sharks, he played like he needed to make the team every time out on the ice, not like a 9OA.
