I never look at other teams GDT's but you made me look.

I have to tip my hat to the fan who makes the GDT over there. If Bruins management put in half the work that this fan does, they would be in much better position.

I'm not expecting a ton either but I am hoping some of his qualities immediately translate. He looked so dominant at times in the NCAA and WJC, Mackinnon-lite is really the best analogy I've seen. Something tells me he won't have a quiet night and he's not going to resemble our usual 3rd line plug-in replacement guys--especially on a line with Strome and Protas.

Until November 2024, Protas' ceiling was supposed to be reliable defensive 3rd liner. He was probably one of the least exciting prospects until he decided he was god lol

Very surprised that they're throwing him into the top-six straight away, but Strome and Protas are about as complementary a pair as you can give him, so this'll be a good opportunity to see what he can provide.
