I can totally look at puckpedia but I want to hear it from you.

A quick peek at the Hawks board and I see Marner and Lafreniere mentioned within 3 posts so I bring it to the main boards.

How much capspace does your team have and what do they plan to do with it?

Everyone says the Canucks (~15,000,000) are fine and have some space to add but if I goto Puckpedia and sign;

UFA Brock Boeser 8,000,000
UFA Pius Suter 4,000,000
UFA Derek Forbort 2,000,000
NCAA Tom Willander 950,000
RFA Aatu Raty 950,000

Then we're actually over the cap. Realistically we need to upgrade on both UFA forwards, for cheaper, somehow.

What about your team what are we up against?

They won't sign Boeser, so they have 8 million. They might sign Suter but who knows. They will probably trade Chytil and a 1st for a top 6 center and moving Chytil opens up another 4 million. Hoglander is another player who they might move if they feel they need more cap space. So thats 19 million in total. Forbort might not be signed either if we sign Tom Willander. So 21 million if you take that into account.

This wouldn’t include any new contracts for RFAs but on average teams have like 22 million in cap space
