No Price to start the season. Weber is gone. Guys like Petry, Toffoli and Anderson are underperforming. Rookies like Caufield weren't ready for the continuous grind of a full NHL schedule.

They caught lightning in a bottle (no pun intended) by going to the SCF last year. I don't think they're as bad as their record indicates, but they're definitely not good enough to make it to the playoffs the way they are now.

One thing to be thankful for is that all of our injuries are affecting forwards only. Having the D core intact really helps us stay afloat.
With how thin the blue line is beyond the top 6 guys, I'm glad it's not the other way around.

Oshie's latest injury was apparently not related to his broken bone, it was a new thing, per PL.

Lets see, no Backs, Oshie, Sheary, Eller, Mantha, all replaced by AHL guys. If we win this they should put a medal on PL's chest.

I would first have to question what this injury is and how it happened? They say it is unrelated to the foot injury. That could be a lie. If they are unrelated, I am not sure that it makes much difference

Its either Protas or Leason. With who is out, there arent a lot of options if they want to spread Wilson to another line. Sprong McMichael Protas would be a struggle. Particularly with an all rookie 4th line
