I wouldn’t be so sure on Tij. His season has been really impressive and he’s still only 17. Teams will like his profile. Pick #8 might be just right for him. He might go ahead of Catton

I don’t see calgary reaching for iginla over a catton/buium/dickinson. Somewhere within 11-15 is probably where tij goes
Dickinson is likely gone by then and Buium may also. Catton doesn't offer as much size so I can see teams preferring Iginla. 8 is a bit early maybe but not by much. Hard to see him not going top 10, though it may be close. The bloodlines, the early birthday and massive DY growth are all things GMs and scouts love.

There are a few wild cards within that top group and it's tough to project the order of the whole chunk after Celebrini. Which way does Chicago go at 2? Who knows really. Who knows. Still some pretty key games for quite a few in that group but the lack of consensus beyond a fairly vague top 13 or so makes it really tough to call just yet.

Cristall was on a mission there. Unlucky not to get a hattrick as he had few really nice steals and got robbed twice by Hauser on partial breakaways.

3+8 in 6 games has him tied for 2nd in WHL Playoff scoring with Tij Iginla. 1 behind Briley Wood but Wenatchee are out already.

The think i like about our top 10 is that all have legit NHL potential. I’d take the over on 5. I think 6 play more than 20 NHL games. But all 10 are viable and I think Sutter is another one that could be sooner than later. Has to be for him. It’s good youth. Still lacks top 6 / top 4 depth.

Leonard in Hershey for a playoff run would be wild.

I wonder where he would slot in to start? Maybe 3rd line duty?

Speaking of Kelowna, I only recently found out that the jersey logo for the beer-league team I played with throughout the 2000s (at the Gardens Ice House) was directly based on the Rockets' logo. (I'm sure the teammate who designed it told us all at the time, and I probably just forgot, lol.)
