2nd wild card right now by point % is 0.526. We just need to win the next 9 games in a row and we'll be right there (0.530)!

The Canadiens just went 8-2-0 in their last 10, so I guess anything is possible.

It's hard to believe in this team at this stage, they constantly let us down.

Cozens is such a disappointment, I watched him play without the puck, it's just awful, it feels like his brain doesn't work. Even with the puck, sometimes there are so many strange decisions. Especially since this guy is not a good center.

Sammy easily allows Wilson to score, Power allows Protas to do the same. Same problem in every game.

Incapable of learning and too cowardly to stand up to the situation.

There's a lot of sickness floating around from the holidays ... but Tage has looked low energy since his return from injury. Hoping he can get back into form.
Tage looked pretty damn good in he offensive zone last night. He was causing problems for the Caps all game. He’s also 11th in the league in goal scoring at the moment I believe.

Lots of complaining over a win against a very good team.

It seems like Cozens hasn’t been the same since he lost that fight to Hathaway.

In Cozens first what now, 5 years as a professional hockey player, what quality veteran forward has he spent time with to help him learn those things? Or experienced skills coach?

Is it that Cozens is a dumb hockey player? Or have we simply not given him any support to develop? Isn't it weird that all of our young skaters have stopped progressing once we went past "f*** defense go score" stage of our team?

I'm no some sort of developmental professional, but when you are seeing this with ALL of your young forwards......maybe the problem isn't the forwards?

I agree, that could be a problem too, but what can we do if our idiot GM doesn't understand this, that young players need to be surrounded by good vets. Why are Protas and McMichael improving? Because they are surrounded by Ovechkin, Strome, Wilson, Carlson, PLD and other experienced players. Why does the famous Mike Grier add guys like Granlund, Toffoli, Wennberg and others to his team so that Celebrini, Eklund and other young players can improve. Our Adams doesn't do this and hasn't done it for the last four years. Unfortunately, we are stuck in this cycle of rebuilding (and even the wrong one).

Yup I though Tage played one of his best games of the season last night. Keep him glued at RW for now.

Yeah. There's a lot of games left. I'm going to try to enjoy the good ones, and not let the bad ones get me down too much. And hopefully see some development out of our young guys over the back half of the season.

And 51 in total points. Why? He has fewer assists than goals. A good C should be around 1.5 a/g i.e. getting production out of your line mates. The exception would be a Matthews type but you better be around top 5 in goals.

Right, we don't have the luxury of having a center like Tage. Matthews has either Marner or Nylander playmaking like a top center, plus he's probably the best natural goal scorer in the game right now, Tage is not. He really might be better served as a winger in future lineups but that leaves us with needing a 1C and 2C.

This goes back to going all-in for Pettersson. Once you get that 1C hole filled with someone capable of making his linemates better, then it makes all the other holes easier to fil. I'm not as worried about finding a 2C down the line and Tage could certainly play there for now.

Anyone notice the Was bench standing for all of overtime and the shootout last night ? Our bench was not. Didn't care for that energy and look.
