Well, that's not exactly the kind of defense I want to see. From a balance standpoint, these pairs look okay, but other than that... not for me.

Yep.

At the end of last season the caps had one of the worst looking rosters on paper in the league.

GM went out in the off season and acquired a top 6C, Top 6 W and two top 4 D and upgraded his 4th line wingers. And I'm probably leaving out some other moves.

That's more in one off-season than Adams has managed in five.
