I have seen this movie before.

Next up is the mainboard entitled 'What's Wrong with the Caps?' Or 'Will Trotz Be Fired?'

Thread devolves quickly into people crapping on Ovie.

Caps fire Trotz and promote Mann.

We start slow under Mann, then catch fire. We storm into playoffs, look awesome, and then lose in Game 7 of round 2 v. Pens or Rags.

Best left one.... I think orlov or MJ.

MJ so rarely cranks it, you don't know for sure. #SwedeCDisease

Doesn't Vrana also have a nice one timer? (If we're going with the hypothetical)

The one time feed from the point with a left handed shot (Backstrom) would hamper the feed to Ovie, as Nicky would have to rotate to feed the pass on the forehand to Ovechkin.

Also they need more quality shots from the point to make it a legitimate threat, not completely taking away the option by putting 19 up there.

Nick is the best backhand passer in the league. He could nail that pass on his backhand

Also he wouldn't have to rotate at all since he's not going to be getting a pass from the half boards. He'd run it at the point

The only thing worse than watching this years caps team is watching this years jabs team. Those moves they made in the offseason are really paying off

He has to get the puck from somewhere. He can't be positioned to feed a forehand pass to both wings at the same time. He'll have to rotate to feed one of the options, which telegraphs the pass.
