I cannot agree with you on Kadri, ROR, Marchand, Tuch. Any of those 4 would make the Caps a *much* tougher out in the loffs.

Who in their right mind wants Kadri on his contract? Sure, he'd be great as a rental this year, but picking him up for the next 4 seasons @7M$ is a terrible idea.

First off, he's got three points in his last three games. Second, you're moving the goalpost from points to goals here.

I'll bet you the goals start going in for CMM though. He's been getting better looks lately, and he's just holding his stick a bit too tight. I won't be surprised if he puts up five goals in the next ten games because he's just coming out of his mid season slump.

I think Mike's been a valuable player this year for the Caps, especially considering the contract he has. No desire to trade him at this deadline. Although, if he doesn't show any scoring consistency for the remainder of this season + playoffs, I would trade him in the offseason for a quality 3C or top D. For next season, one of Leonard/Miro should get top 6 winger minutes in his stead.
