This is the problem with the Rangers team, we are a 100% momentum based team. It's not the talent that drives us, it's the momentum we can get. But part of our problem is it's SO difficult to get our team's engine revving, and any bad bounce that ends in a goal ends up destroying our momentum, and it's so difficult to get the momentum back. Our team looks great when we're controlling the tempo, but when we're on our heels, which seems to be the case more than not, we look average at best.

It's incredibly frustrating to watch, especially with our notorious slow starts.

If emminger doesn't take himself out of position on that hit, that's a nothing play

It wasn't his fault, but he just could have played it so much better. The thing that frustrates me is he has so much potential and he just didn't develop in the way I wanted him to. He doesn't really provide that offensive boost anymore, and he got better at the defensive end, but still makes too many dumb decisions. I think I've reached the point where I'd be okay with trading him.
