Parascak looks exciting. But the more I watch Prince George highlights, all you can see is empty seats. No one goes to those games
It is in the middle of nowhere so I imagine they have a limited pool of people to get jnto those seats.

In college my roommate that I played HS hockey came up with a plan to spend a winter hitting all the CHL/AHL/ECHL etc arenas. Long story short…. Never happened

Yes and no. Mainly it's Chychrun's play that should give them hesitancy to sign him to a big, long-term contract.

Here's my thinking: Hutson gives them leverage to get a good (and tradable) contract for Chychrun. If Chyrchrun was playing like Quinn Hughes (or even prime Carlson), it wouldn't matter what Hutson was doing in college. But since it's realistic that Hutson may outplay Chychrun, the Caps "need" to sign a fair contract so that they can trade Chychrun if Hutson ends up better. So basically it has to be a contract that is tradable when his shooting % drops back to normal levels.

Apparently Allen Walsh has said stuff about players going for shorter contracts with the rising cap. If Chychrun were willing to do that, I wouldn't mind seeing the Caps give him 2-3x$10 million or something with essentially no trade protection on the second (and third) year. But historically, hockey players have favored longer contracts at lower AAV. (As would I if I were in their shoes.)
Maybe. Chychrun is only 26, right? I don’t think Hutson, at 19 (or whatever), should have ANY bearing on JC6’s contract.

Why is JC6 worth? In today’s cap, 8m a season, IMO. Perhaps up to 9m. And that will only look better as the cap springs northward.

IF the Caps needs to make space for Hutson, even as soon as this next season, Sandin, Fever and TVR are the guys to look at moving on from. Not JC6.

Simply out, JC6 adds something that this team hasn’t had in years. He’s better at offense and stick movement (and shooting) than anyone we’ve seen since the Hatcher/Murphy/Stevens/Gonchar/Johnasson years. IMO
