Prospect Info: Caps Prospects General Discussion Thread - 2024-25

And never mind.... Luchanko just got sent back to Guelph, so they should get better.
And never mind again. Luchanko's back but Guelph is still horrible. They're currently losing 5-0 in the middle of the 1st period. So maybe Allen does get traded.

According to ChatGPT Ryan Stoa playing 3 games in 2013-14 is the only Ryan to play for the Caps since Ryan Walter
Hopefully we will enter a golden age of Ryans

You're telling me neither you nor ChatGPT remember the 8 minutes Ryan Stanton played for the Caps in January of 2016?! He was a -1 in 8:41 of ice time, recorded no points, shot attempts, hits, or blocked shots, and committed a holding penalty on which Blue Jackets scored. Truly one of the Caps of all time.

American Hockey Hero Ryan Chesley has four goals and seven points in six games.
I would love to see Ryan Chesley enter the stystem. I think he can overtake Iorio. but i see potential in that 3-4RD. May the best man win!

Leonard with an assist last night versus St. Cloud state. Perreault with 2 goals and Hagens two assists.

Parascak with 1+2 last night. Up to 11th in WHL points at 22 (24 points has up to #2 with a lot of folks). McKenna leading with 29 points.

Its early in the NHL season but curious to see if Cristall might be traded to a contender since currently they sit in 10th out of 11th place in the WHL western conference.

Parascak's PG at #2 in the western conference.

He would bring a haul as a pure rental. Agree he is likely to get moved.

Leonard off the score sheet tonight. What is going on with him?
Little sophomore slump. Little adversity is good. Rather him have it this year.

Leonard's been good but not great this weekend. He's also been a little unlucky. His shooting percentage is less than half of it was last year. Plus, he was screening the goalie for the 1st goal (and was on the ice for the 2nd), so it's not like he's not contributing.

He's been a bit snake bitten. Not including the games this weekend a ridiculous amount of posts. Would be interesting to know who was his center this weekend. Regardless of the center he was generating great chances without much luck. He had a slow start last season comparatively.
