It really is just so clear how badly the Caps lack a highly skilled forward with speed that can drive puck possession and create sustainable offensive zone time. Kuzy is the only one with that ability and his head is not screwed on half the time that he plays.

Thats fine.. at least he can score... fill his wings with speed and he'll score like we did in december. But you can't have Oshie/Backstrom/OV on the same team. Any team with those 3 will get obliterated.

I hate to say it, but Nicky and Oshie just cannot keep up and skate with today's NHL. Not sure how their situation can get much better, especially at their ages and injury histories.
