don’t see guys competing hard to win pucks overall today. To each their own.

Could be 1-0 or 2-0 the other way too. Tampa hasn't done much, they get a PP goal to take the lead and some no-name guy gets one in with LT screened by 4 guys.

The thing is they have a wall of guys clogging the middle and a human wall between the pipes as well. Tampa is the only team I fear in the playoffs.

Strome as a #1 center isn't good enough. I guess if we consider PLD the #1, then it's tolerable, but he has some really tough games where he makes boneheaded plays, fumbles the puck all over the place, and his skating just flat out blows.

I'm not sure 5v5 Strome is even at 2C level. He hasn't been for a considerable period now in terms of production. Projecting forward to playoff pace I don't like his chances of accomplishing much.

Strome is absolutely a #1C. There are only 10/11 other Cs in the league with more points right now. He's not a *elite* 1C, which is what the fanbase has gotten used to after having TWO of them for most of the past decade. That's not a realistic benchmark to go up against.

That said, if this team struggles to score without emotion or fire behind their games I shudder to think what they're going to look like after Ovi breaks the record.
