Are they adding Tarasenko? I’m guessing they will ditch Pesce for a young D man and a good prospect/high pick. I’m envious. Frank Aquilini and the legion of lunatics he hires couldn’t staff a McDonald’s with out f***ing it up. Send Brindy back home after you guys win a cup. Only ? I have is the goaltending but you guys didn’t have all the weapons in the playoffs.

I see the Sabres emulating a lot of what the Canes have done over the last decade building this wagon. Our owner can’t stay out of his own way.

There's a thought that we might be waiting for the Tank signing for either the Aho extension to be finalized or a trade of one of Skjei/Pesce first.

Fwiw I think Levi is going to be the real deal for you guys here soon (though I'm an absolute Northeastern homer) and of your guys can secure a good tandem guy for him you guys could knock off the Isles or (if Bergeron retires) Boston for a playoff spot as soon as this season.

Why would Canes trade a very promising/producing cost controlled 22 yr old 2-way player who has 20G 30A so far this year (and playing on a non-offense oriented line) for an aging 32 yr old defensemen with a unspecified + while they are in their cup window?

Yeah I think he'd be awesome on any of our top 3 lines. I've had him on fantasy teams last season and this season. Some avs posters are on the fence about trading Mikko because of his next contract, I'm occupying myself with mostly hypothetical targets to fill the void if he's traded.

Hypothetically we try Jarvis in the top 6, see how well does, sign him long term , and trade and avoid Mikko 12m+ contract

As I noted, you are trying to sell an aging defensemen off your roster to get a cost controlled rising star that scores and kills penaltiess. C'mon, are you trolling?
