Wow just wow. This ref is a P.O.S. Stick never touched the guy. Caps look exhausted from playing last night and then having that SOB give them lots of gifts.

Sorry but I really cannot blame the Caps in this game. When you spend that much time on the PK in a back to back you will be exhausted. NHL needs to have replay for things like this rather than let some rookie ref trying to prove himself influence a game. Guy just looks like an ass, hopefully he doesn't last long in the NHL,

I don't understand your question. Did you feel we playe well? Because i didn't. Fehr didn't clear zone on PK when he had all the time in the world. We got outhustled for last 10 minutes of the period. While both calls against Ovie were weak, the REASON he got the first one was that he was yelling at the ref and then ran over Doan. Whether accidental or not, the screaming and b****ing beforehand made it look like a frustration/retaliation penalty.

We did not finish our odd-man rush.

We have been almost totally unable to stop their PP.

We have blown a 2-goal lead.

You seem to not understand the implications of spending half a period and almost 25% of the game on the PK.

Let's see how many PP the refs give us this period. If we finish with 2 PP or less, that's a load of crap. We played terrible that period but still deserve to win.

We didn't play well but we didn't play bad enough to go into the 3rd tied. You're one of those great guys on this board that loves to be negative. I understand that but chill.

Sorry, but that's no excuse to hand out a PP's like candy. You'd be screaming too if the referee's were deliberately calling a one sided game.

No, but we didn't play bad enough that they get a boat load of PP's on phantom calls. Without those, we're still up 3-1.

Peters I don't think is having a good game. He gives up a lot of rebounds. Neither of our goalies seem to do anything with the opportunity they are given.

Hmmm. Read my comments after the last game, the loss to Tampa. I said we played great and listed what I liked about the game.

PK has been terrible, but so have the calls against the Caps. I rarely botch about the reffing but this is disgraceful. That said, once again they have failed to capitalize on their opportunities and they simply cannot kill a penalty.

How can you disregard the penalties? That's the only reason this game is tied. Granted our ES play wasn't great, we didn't allow an ES goal that period. Looks like we're playing the refs + the Yotes. Can't really beat those odds.
