I wonder…

Why now? Not like the Caps are going to have a ton of cap hit to manage the next half decade…

Why not just have two web sites…keep the public one going, same as before, then have the private one on a hidden domain…they don’t even need a DNS name.

The Kings have their own version of Cap Friendly. It's called CapHostile. Has AI features to forecast, predictive models and suggested solutions to deal with the problems they bring upon themselves; ie. paying Provorov 2.15 M. They inputted: 'we effed up, on Petersen's contract. How best, to move it?' One of the answers was CapHostile identified other bad contracts in the league and one was Ivan Provorov's...and it suggested various trade scenarios to make 1 or more deals, to move Petersen's contract. But then, Blucgevin didn't consult it, when they talked with Winnipeg and Brisson, about PLD.

Other situations and issues, CapHostile was used: Giving away players they can't develop or afford...and possible bonuses being activated...how to keep the bonuses from being achieved.
Sadly, the King proprietery version should really be named BlucgevinDestructor.
