Creature Commandos -- animated series from Hollwood's current darling James Gunn
(a decade ago it was Joss Whedon, before that it was Quentin Tarantino, but nowdays its all "James Gunn this" and "James Gunn that"). Anyway, I'm finding it enjoyable -- a little bit of Harley Quinn TAS, a little bit of Suicide Squad, and even some Tarantino thrown in for good measure. The animation is tremendous and the music is great. B+. Recommended.

2 really similar movies, could have been plays as it was all dialogue in a room

A real pain - 6.7/10, written directed staring Jessie eisenberg who I really like. Kieran culkin as the other half of odd ball couple on euro trip honoring dead grandmother … tedious watching at times, repetitive monologues but dinner monologue was great writing

His three daughters - 6.2/10 …

100% my choices but so many factors like is wife also watching, is wife and teen daughter watching … am I depressed and looking to crawl inside a glass of whiskey in a dark room

Actually started anatomy of a fall Friday night but switched to real pain bc I thought that’s what wife actually wanted but she just didn’t say it and wanted to remain neutral as a socially polite gesture

Dune series - i liked it .. i actually liked it a lot looking back on it. First few episodes I didnt think I would. Im an idiot and it took me until the 6th and final episode before I started to think I understood the plot and moving parts .. that i wish i knew when I began watching

fam movie night and the 12 yr old was not an instant "no" - excited. Flow, wild robot, goodrich, raising arizona and Alien Romulus are the 5 options.

---------------------------------------------------------

Has anyone ever mounted a tv BUT ALSO go no visible wires by cutting a whole in drywall behind tv and dropping cables down then pulling them through a hole down at bottom where media center is?

Kinda nervous to do it and then find a horizontal 2x4 blocking it and having to ... idk at that point.

Uhhh, they do have services to do this. I don’t think it’s all that expensive — but what do I know?

Thats the debate.

Im medium level handy man. replaced toilets, garbage disposals, dry wall patch repair .. took out cabinets few months ago

If its a simple drop down .. i dont want to pay guys $200 to do what I can do and if there is a horizontal 2x4 .. theyd charge more bc theyd have to cut dry wall to get access ..

Ill get a few beers in my tonight and make some good decisions

You don’t own a stud finder of some type? There are nice imaging ones even now…

NOTE: Make absolutely certain that your wife is not around when you do these tasks. They are very easy to do, but you want to be able to tell her how horribly difficult it was -- that the TV deceptively weighs 200 pounds, how you had to kill the 9 armed gremlins that live inside the wall with your bare hands, that you "piped in power from the shielded framewatt junction box underneath the house and ran all the wires along the vertical plumbing, securing them in place along the way using only fish tape, zip ties, and The Force," shit like that. This has the dual benefit of possibly earning sexual favors AND makes her less likely to volunteer these services to 14 of her friends that'll each want it done in 3 rooms.

Unless she is also aware of YouTube and knows you're lying, in which case she'll kick you in the gems, withhold sexual favors for 6 months, and shave the entire left side of your skull while you're asleep.

(But seriously, if you're no good with fish tape, you can use some fishing line, a fishing weight, and gravity to run the wires if you did a good job lining the holes up.)
