For me the only way 2 is better is if the second half really picks up. so I might have to finish watching to determine that.

The Lioness finale was very weak and was a pretty lame job at wrapping up the cartel storyline IMO.
Watched the first three episodes of Skelton Crew. I’m intrigued so far. First episode was slow but the 2nd and 3rd were much better. Jude Laws character is mysterious so far. Is he actually a Jedi or is he just messing with the kids?

I’m just starting the last episode of season 2…..it’s been incredible through episode 7 IMO.
Edit: finished, I liked it and yes the Cartel “wrap up” was quick, but that was never the true enemy. The Cartel story could reopen later.
So much gun fire in this show…love the battles! The “old Soldier” dude is so awesome…
Skeleton Crew is aight so far….feels like he’s a conman, we’ll see.

Lioness season 2 was a huge letdown from season 1. Ridiculous soap opera from start to finish.

I enjoyed the majority of lioness season 2, I just wasn’t a fan of the finale. I thought the episode felt rushed and Sheridan’s character felt like he was the GOAT of snipers. They didn’t lose a single character (that we know of) during an intense battle scene. Plus, they dodged an insane amount of bullets while backtracking to that random pile of rocks that was perfectly placed for all 10 of them to hide behind lol.
My guess is they use the new Cartel boss feeding them info about foreign enemies and the fallout from the end battle as the main storyline for season 3.

“The old soldier”….that guy is my favorite but they’re all great. How about Jill Wagner all buffed up? What a transformation she made for that role.

I would recommend The Blood of Heroes for an underated post apocalyptic blood sport movie if someone is missing Mr. Hauer tonight.
Or this gem Flesh+Blood direct by Paul Verhoven and also has a barely an adult Jennifer Jason Leigh.

This just gave me PTSD. They play that “song” on repeat for a few days during a certain period of military training and god damn I hate that f***ing poem from this bottom of my heart. Haven’t heard it in 15 years but I heard the first note and now I’m going to go get stoned and pretend I didn’t hear it. Man.
