Coming in peace, but as long as the Wolves stay affiliated with one of our rivals, I'm cool.

Despite all the *****ing and moaning that happened in our fanbase over a local team affiliating with the Nucks, the Wolves have always been far more interested in winning then developing their parent's prospects. Dollars to donuts, more than a couple of your guys' prospects' development will be held back a tad by the Wolves due to this organizational outlook, and it was for that reason that I viewed the Wolves affiliation with Vancouver as a blessing in disguise.

Well thanks for stopping by "in peace" to tell us how happy you are our prospects' development will be hampered.

Eh, playing on good teams may help the better prospects in the long run. While it may squeeze out the average prospects, average prospects have NEVER developed in Peoria. Polak was probably the last, Porter and Reaves are NHLers, but borderline role players. This may hurt our goaltending as much as anything, like Binnington might have a harder time getting starts there if he doesnt succeed immediately.

Hey, don't shoot the messenger. Just giving you a head's up that it won't be all roses for your prospects just because they move from Peoria to Chicago.
