Emil Pettersson has decent AHL and SHL stats. Lets make a trade with with Nashville.
From their POV - why would the Preds wish to do this?I thought about this too. Would be a neat move if we could swap with Nashville for one of our prospects of equal value.
And exactly what Benning will do...We'll almost certainly be able to get him for free next summer (or next fall on waivers) so trading assets for him would be a waste.

I don't know. I've barely given it any thought. Just spitballing. From their POV - why would the Preds wish to do this?
Vancouver Canucks make minor move, acquire Yan Stastny and send him to AHL

VANCOUVER, B.C. - The Vancouver Canucks acquired forward Yan Stastny from the St. Louis Blues for prospect Pierre-Cedric Labrie on Wednesday.
Stastny was assigned to AHL Manitoba.
The 27-year-old has played 91 career career NHL games with St. Louis, Boston and Edmonton.
The Canucks signed Labrie as a free agent in 2007. He's yet to appear in an NHL game.
He's an AHLer. Why would you offer a pick? Why not offer a late round pick? As much as I’m against giving away picks, I’d rather him spend them on these types of deals. Not sure he has room on the squad though this year or coming years.
For once we have the good brother. I'd say let's just leave it art that.
Because Benning. Let’s be realistic here. Benning ain’t convincing a GM to get free asset. He's an AHLer. Why would you offer a pick?
Yeah but he's not really an asset. He can't play in the NHL.Because Benning. Let’s be realistic here. Benning ain’t convincing a GM to get free asset.
He’s 24 and nearly had 50 pts in the AHL last year, he’s definitely an asset, just not a good one.Yeah but he's not really an asset. He can't play in the NHL.
