I know the Canucks are 'down and bit out' at the moment. But when you look around this Pacific Division, there are really no 'juggernauts' in the making.
In fact when you break down teams like Edmonton, L.A. and even Vegas, I think Vancouver has a lot better future than all of them. The Canucks enter this off-season as the 5th-6th youngest team in the league. And their blueline is absolutely stacked.
And their problems up front are fixable. Heck, guys like Lekkerimaki, Karlsson, Sasson and even Mueller and Klimovich might be a lot closer to the NHL than we think.
They do need more size and grit in their forward group. But it's hardly impossible to find those type of players. And they enter the off-season with ton of cap space for the first time in years.
