Also what do y'all think of a Eriksson for Backes swap? Maybe going back to Boston Erikkson can revive his career a bit. I assume Boston says no due to Eriksson having an extra year? He is also 1 yr younger

Yea I'd say the extra year kills Eriksson for Backes deal for the Bruins. Backes has adapted well to more of an energy role in the late regular season and first round against the Leafs, while also sliding up for a couple shifts if needed. This fact makes him way more valuable to the Bruins than a grossly overpaid, offensive winger who isn't going to go into the corners like Backes will.
