Buyout Period: June 27th, evening; players without NMCs must be placed on unconditional waivers 24 hours prior (another buyout period opens if a team has a player file for arbitration). This buyout period ends June 30th. 8:00pm.
Team-Elected Arbitration: June 26th, evening
NHL Awards: June 27th
Draft Day 01: June 28th
Draft Day 02: June 29th
Qualifying Offer Date: June 30th
8-Year Contract Deadline: June 30th, 9pm PST

I also suspect Heinen and DeBrusk will outproduce Lindholm (though he has a higher upside).

Zad is better than Forbort but in the end I'll take the cap space and the balance.

We still do need another PMD though. C'mon Carrier, do the right thing.

Don't blame them. Most GMs will last around 3 years.

I do love that over the past couple years the management team has prioritised players who can PK. Heinen is elite there, DeBrusk can do it, Forbort too, and Kiefer Sutherland is a decent actor who can also serve on the PK.

I’d be surprised if we don’t add a defensemen. I don’t think Forbort will be our only add back there. Boqvist (or Carrier, if we are dreaming) come to mind as puck movers.

It’s about needs. You weren’t paying Stephenson to play behind Miller/Pettersson and you aren’t paying Pettersson centre rate to play wing.

All low risk moves so far except the DeBrusk contract, and he seems like a lock for 20-30 goals a season plus decent two way play. We'll see how that pans out, hopefully we found a long term linemate for EP.
