I loved Suter’s versatility and clutchness but I’m glad they’ve decided to sell him. Have a feeling they’ll flip the pick pretty quickly in a concurrent center trade.

One of your main PKers, good 7th forward up and down the lineup. But a very replaceable player. He was super slow, lacked size, and never was a driver. Just a smart, effective guy who could play virtually anywhere.
I really don’t think they are making this move without an immediate follow up. I know it was implied that they’re trying it, but I just can’t imagine them going through with it without something immediate

If we trade Suter I think that increases the chance of trading Boeser. I can't see us selling some UFAs but then just keeping Boeser as a "self rental". We can retool on the fly but we have to fully commit to one side or the other this deadline.
