He’s pretty one dimensional and awdul defensively but putting him on Peteys wing wouldnt actually be bad idea. He needs butter soft deployment tho
There are defensive issues, but there's a lot weird effects ANA has on guys' shot/chance impacts. Still second among ANA forwards in xG%.

He creates offensively in a lot of interesting ways, which is a huge need for VAN.
He would be excellent but see no reason why Anaheim moves him.
Like I said, he is part of ANA's "older" core. By the time they exit their rebuild, he could plausibly be finishing his current contract anyway.

Issue is we have nothing to offer Anaheim.

Kind of an off-the-board option, but I would be very interested in Troy Terry from Anaheim. I know they signed him long-term, but he is one their "older" core players and might not really be on the roster post-rebuild.

Love the transition ability and crafty inside-triangle chance creation. Cost certainty on his deal is also a big benefit in this cap environment.
I thought I was the only one.

Whenever I watch them he's one of the few non obvious superstar wingers in the league who is always dangerous and can create something out of nothing.

I think if you put him with Petey or just on a functional team he could pop even more and he doesn't reeeeaaally fit the Ducks' window.

Seravelli saying a bunch of the players on the Canucks are pissed Miller was traded. I dunno what to believe anymore but I believe it!

Like I said in another post, using that as a talking point to stir up more shit is proof that the person's brain is less functioning than Chief Wiggum's.

Coming from that fat ass Seravelli I'm not even surprised.

Both Pete and Miller are to blame for not being able to work their shit out despite being two multi-millionaire professionals.

Yep. With a non-disaster team, his point totals could explode. I think he would be a nice running mate for Petey, that could offer him some creativity, like Kuz did in a short stretch.

I think Terry is super underrated too. That he has the impact he has, on ANA, playing with a cooked Strome and Vatrano who doesn't do anything but shoot, is pretty impressive. When Terry was out for a few games, Vatrano was awful. Their line never had the puck. Terry does everything for them.

Wouldn’t really use him as a reliable source, the guy slanders the Canucks any chance he gets

That was posted on Twitter by a random Oilers fan. I've seen no source for that quote by Seravalli and no one else has posted a transcript of it.

Lets play devils advocate then and forget the report.

Dont you both think all 21 players outta 23 are/were pissed at this blowup just outta common sense?

We were supposed to be a cup contending team and the wheels fells off at the top.

I posted earlier how all the cap gymnastics were for deadline space for our contender year.

Instead Allvin janked around every waivers eligible player for 3 months for it to all not matter. Now dpetey gets NHL paycheques and misses a Allstar game lol.

Boeser in his UFA year could have been a 30-30 man on the wings of a normal Miller and got paid and stayed where he wanted to.

Now the wheels fell off we traded his center and before the league sees he was carried by Miller we probably trade him.

Demko as a psych major trying to mend his own physical injuries has been seen with the team the entire time, even while injured. You dont think he's pissed that the window just shut because two of his core couldnt work it out while he struggles to get back healthy himself?

Myers statement even the team put out on social media says he's definetly team Miller.

Cmon! Id wager more than half the team was team Miller. Thats probably why Hogs still remains cause then Petey would really feel alone.

Thank god.

I dont need Seravalli to tell me a slew of other none core isnt also unhappy at whats transpired.

Seems like Calgary has been drama free and just added a LW with term.

Im sure Jake is pleased we were forced to trade a centerman he was probably half promised to play with when Calgary offered more money haha.

Im sure Pius Suter is happy going into the 2nd half about to get caved in as he becomes a own rental.

Im sure Garland is happy after two years of not being able to get traded, now he watches JT force his way out while he's turned it around and been our best forward.

There's about 12 others with NHL livelyhoods affected by this fiasco.

Maybe some are team Petey but every game that goes by looking over at Elias in the lockerroom becomes one day closer to them also siding with Miller at this rate, imo.

This is a tad bit sensational

The Canucks are a smart team and will replace Miller, then the promises of a 2nd line can once again come full circle

Miller was an asshole, plain and simple

If they Canucks we’re winning then they would forgive that

I don’t remember who the source was, but it’s been reported there was a few players pissed at Miller. I think the quote was also about at least a second STAR player being done with him.

Wonder when brock gets traded

Don't know how you can still be evaluating a player whose been here since you have
