They would genuinely need a Hughes-level centre coming back even just for optics. To have traded away Horvat, Miller and EP and be left with...Chytil at the C-spot would be pretty untenable.
 
I will never forgive Soucy for not standing up for Hughes or going after Perry later in that game. He was done as a Canuck as of that game.

Jack Hughes for Pettersson + Boeser (50% retained) + 1st
Josh Norris for Suter + 2nd + Mynio

Allows them to remain in the playoff hunt with Norris/Chytil/Blueger/Raty down the middle and then they can run Hughes/Norris/Chytil next season.

Assemble the Quinn Hughes super team by bringing in his brother and best friend, cowards.

It seems pretty obvious that Cam Robinson is somehow Rutherford/Allvin/someone high up’s new mouthpiece. Seems like they’re trying to get calls from teams.

That, or he’s just making stuff up.

Had a return to form (even if briefly) last night so the risk went down. Maybe that makes us more likely to keep him, or more likely to get good value in trade.

Either way, doesn't hurt to collect offers when we only have until July 1st to do so. You know if we wait until the offseason, Carolina will be ready to screw us over again in some different way.
