I actually hope we stand pat. we have to sign a few guys, or bring guys up from abby to get enough contracts, but I would love to have cap space going into the trade deadline so that we can cash in for once.

Fit as in Tochett wouldn’t play him.
He would if Skinner is scoring goals. Skinner can be a 30+ goal 60+ point player. Suter isn’t going to be one. Hoglander likely won’t be one. Tocchet isn’t a fool. He will work with what he has and he will play Skinner if we acquire him and he’s playing at that 30+ goal 60+ point level.

Guentzel can’t get an 8 year deal now that his rights were traded. Reinhart has until 9:00 pm PST so it seems unlikely at this point.

You're correct. Edited my post.

I think they both go to market. That does not mean either signs here, but we have a good of a shot as anyone. Contending team, beautiful city, American players/Rutherford for Jake, hometown for Sam.

Tomorrow is looking mighty juicy. Time to get hammered so I pass out early.

For real, I can't remember the last time this many big names actually tested the market. 9/10 times they just stay where they are.

The wild one for me is Reinhart. He just scored the cup winner a few days ago.

Well, hopefully both guentzel and reinhard will prefer vancouver and we can maybe get a bit of a bargain.

Not that we can afford both, but maybe see who wants to take a shave to live and play in the best city in north america

Wonder what Tanev is willing to sign for? Not much talk around him, but obviously he’s going to market?

Serve up that Jake/Tanev dish on a platter Chef!

Quite frankly, the last few months on here have been fun but exhausting. I would love for us to have a good week—and then be able to just relax for a couple months.
f that. We will celly, bicker, do line combos and rosterbate until puck drop

I watched a TSN video with Bruce Boudreau where they asked “has Stuart Skinner cemented himself as Canada’s goalie for the 4 Nations Cup”.

We are so f***ed in goal.
What was once a position of pride for our country is now...
