Boeser to the Lightning makes a ton of sense. They badly need to upgrade on Cam Atkinson as their right-handed PP1 shooter. If they're offering up Geekie I'd be all over that.
Well Demko was always a question mark.I think it was last summer, a thread on the main board asked if there is another team with a better combo of 1C, 1D and 1G than the Canucks.
Fast forward a few months and we are looking for a new 1C and 1G as both are both broken, and potentially beyond repairs. I blame that thread for bringing us bad karma!
If they wait that long they will not get the same return.i highly doubt theyre gonna let Hughes walk. and theyll probably learn quickly whether or not he intends to stay well before the 2027 deadline.
Selfish but understandable position. I think a lot of people share that sentiment.Yes, I enjoy watching one of the best players in the league play for my favorite team.
I think you are overreacting a bit. We have a little time to see what management can do before burning this team down. Hughes isn't a player the Canucks will EVER have again. The focus should be on how Brock is handled, then Demko. Pettersson should be the major trade piece next if they feel he can't turn it around soon or after the offseason. Management can right this ship in a big way if they do these things correctly. If they can't, Hughes will want to leave anyways.Surrounding Hughes with a collection of players via trade and UFA is such a slow train wreck.
Theirs something special about growing with other people throughout the years and building a core and competing with them. You can’t replace that feeling or chemistry when it’s gone.
Millers gone. Demko, EP116 and BOESER are more than likely done being a core. I think doing whatever you can to make Hughes happy is a really really bad idea.
Is he an amazing player. Yes.
Do we need a player like him to compete? Yes.
Are we gonna do that over the next 2 years? No.
A real shrewd businessman would look at this as an opportunity to help fast track the next core.
Hughes has to be put on the market to fast track the next core and get pics and prospects.
It’s a no brainer at this point.
This is weird cause I have been having crazy heart burn lately myself since Christmas and another friend too it was so bad it was giving me breathing issues. Then had surgery on something else completely unrelated Wednesday and now it's gone.Speaking of heartburn, I went to the ER 2 days ago for the worst heartburn in my life’s and got diagnosed with hiatal hernia and will probably need surgery for my esophagus soon Lol
Still need a majority of the core players to be drafted and developed within the organization.I think you are overreacting a bit. Health is wealthDon’t drink alcohol, drink water instead.

You guys are having health problems out the wazoo, we’re all getting older. We can’t live the way we did when we were 18 anymore. It’s not sustainable. Especially with the stress of just being alive and thinking.
Thanks for coming to my TED talk, if you want to make the mistakes I did, just don’t listen.

LOL. Is that Balin and Dwalin passing the Cup to Thorin and Bofur?
Wild are targetting Brock Nelson. They have more pressing need for a C then a winger. Until Brock Nelson resigns with Islanders. that's where wild are focused.. They intend to play Nelson at C and wingLiam Ohgren is a player I think the Canucks would be very interested if they traded Boeser to the Wild. He was there target if Lekk wasn't available at 15 and they traded down. Him and Lekk have played together and their games compliment each other quite well. Another guy I would want is Spacek.
Boeser for Ohgren and Spacek.
brock nelson would be the mid meh-ish player guerin would target.
