With Sherwood getting the single season hit record, this is the perfect storm to start dangling him in front of GMs before the deadline. Honestly wouldn’t be surprised if you could pull a 1st.

They lost two games by one goal* while missing their best player. Coming off a long layover too. The last two games were pathetic but it’s not like the world has collapsed. Hughes coming back makes all the difference.
*not counting VGK empty netter
The moral victory is our goalies kept it respectable the last two games as the team infront of them got bent over
Boeser is a terrible fit for Minny and they don't care that he is from there. Vanilla Coke isn't a source
Is it measurable? Do the two games nullify the good run of play before? Does it actually matter?
Don't want to trade him unless he can get the Tanner Jeannot return from someone

Yes absolutely. Find gems and sell high. That’s how you build a consistent pool of prospects.
Sherwood has crazy value. That’s the one things about playing in a Canadian market. We get so much more exposure as opposed to Americans teams. Sherwood is known league wide now.
Sherwood is a GM wet dream. He should be on the market.
Hell a team like Edmonton would be all over him for the playoffs

Buch and Schenn are better fits for this team system over Petey, and I could go either way on Blueger instead of Suter if someone feels we're giving up too much. Boeser and Demko have their lines cut, but both get a chance to chase a cup with good teams. Brandt is a bad fit in L.A., but I feel could be a good fit here with either Pettersson.

I don't have faith in management acquiring additional picks for the purpose of drafting.
I'm not talking about building our team through FA. The team should really be listening to offers on anyone not named Hughes. Picks, prospects, young players with real upside.
Whoever gives up 3 x 1sts is going to be a contending team. It's not going to be a bunch of top 5 picks. You may be prepared to accept our team as a bottom feeder for the next 5+ years. I know ownership isn't.

I think it has to matter Somewhat when you're trying to make decisions as to what to do this year. I mean how valuable is it to believe you can be aggressive when the team is literally night and day based on one player.
I'm definitely not saying just Sell everything off and say screw it, But this is sure hindering my decision to be engaged in adding especially since there isn't too much out there At least in my opinion

It's pretty simple really. If Pete doesn't rebound we are headed for purgatory. You just have to pray he rebounds this offseason.

But we're not exactly doing so hot with our current roster, and giving up our best scorer to...fix scoring?
We were fine for what five games without said one player before the break. This is two tough fought games that were one goal games. I would not make snap judgements based on two games
Reaction from some posters was pretty warm. Their read is that Brandt isn't going to get any time under Hillier and Blake, and Boeser is a scorer that isn't atrocious defensively and can at least initiate contact, and L.A.'s game isn't built solely around speed.
