NoElias Pettersson will never lead a team to a cup. Ever. QUOTE me.

Seriously if we get him and move boeser we dont lose anything
You gain some speed and work ethicDon’t gain anything either though

Or to flip if its out there was my thoughtFine with this as long as we come out with positive net assets out of the contract arbitrage. Doesn't really make us any better, but gives you a body to play in the top-six while hopefully accumulating some futures for the off-season.

And a net zero offensive impact, which is what most everyone here is bitching about these days. It’s a lateral move for the sake of making moves. Now if we add Nyq without losing much, that’s a net positive for sure I love Nyq.
But netting Nyq and losing Boeser is shuffling chairs on the titanic.
Why i said if its out there.. if not keep boeaeeI'm not a huge fan of trying to fix everything in-season. The trade market is exceptionally tight with the playoff logjam (especially in the East) and should loosen up heading into the summer as teams reassess. Personally, I'd be hoarding assets and cap space and waiting to fix things heading into the draft and free agency.

Are we looking out for the player, or the franchise? Eichel is much better off having moved on, but is Buffalo isn't.This is where I'm at as well. He's been given every concession and opportunity here and he has still been brutal for well over a year. Eichel gets thrown out there as a comparison - does anyone think Eichel would've rebounded post surgery if he stayed in Buffalo? I think it's time to move on from this player.
Might be Minnesota by the looks of it.

I find your position completely understandable, and I could easily see you being proven correct. Leading the team through 16 wins? Yeah, maybe not. Contributing? I could see it. But this version of the Canucks needs a miracle to win the cup no matter what they do.If there was an archetype for the player that does go full plumber, how far away would ep really be all things considered?
Also not too sure how much actual upside is there still, all while waiting a year plus for it to show up to the party again, the team could've & would've been winning more actual games with necas ++.
Idk, I watch a ton of hockey and sports, and I just dont see it with ep, haven't seen it from him for ages. Idk what some are still seeing or holding on to, but i dont see the redemption arc happening, especially not here.
I do commend the dedication to still believe in ep can lead an nhl team to sixteen playoff wins.
Come on Allvin. Make a trade already.
I haven’t been able to complain in a couple of weeks.
