Miller had a problem with Horvat and now he's got a problem with EP. Are you guys SURE Miller isn't the problem? The NYR traded him to us for nothing and we traded him to you for the same
I feel sure he's a BIG part of the problem actually. Something wrong with him.

When the owner says that everyone is safe there probably is going to be a move.

Buffalo may have other teams they can deal with. Buffalo can swing a big trade with the Rangers, for example. Adams can send a pile of players to the Rangers in exchange for a bunch of theirs. Throw in a bunch of picks going both ways and you're done.

If it's true that Canucks are open to shopping Pettersson, I wonder if Pettersson and Desharnais for Thompson and Byram does it.

Matt Sekeres is going in hard on Petey and management right now, interesting stuff.

Mentioned he heard he does not practice well, not the easiest guy to coach, on the most part wants to be left alone, is particular about his linemates.

Not sure if it's his opinion or things he is hearing.

Lots of smoke going on

When will people stop talking about Rutherford making the trades.

He is not the GM and while of course he has lots of influence & certainly can veto deals, it’s not conventional to mention anyone other than the GM making the trade.

Why not say Aquillini since he would also have to approve a trade the size of dealing EP40.

EP40 looks like he has forgot how to hockey. He is like Bambi on his skates (wobbly) and hardly impacts the ice, despite getting some points every few games.

No one in the nhl is afraid of him having the puck, Canucks should trade him before his NTC kicks in.

Canucks arent moving Pettersson. They'd move Miller before they move Pettersson if there is a rift between the 2.

but to just go with the thread, if Buffalo and Van are talking Pettersson, Id imagine it would look like this:

To Sabres
Pettersson
Forbort

To Van
Power
Cozens
1st rnd pick- top 5 protected
B+ Level Prospect

26 yr old 2 way -100 point scoring Centre with a Point Per Game Average after 400+ NHL games dont grow on trees. They also dont cost cheap.
No they don’t come cheap, that’s why the Sabres got Alex Tuch, Peyton Krebs and Pick 30 for Jack Eichel

never heard that one. as between miller and horvat, we kept the much better player and played much better afterwards so, if you are right ,we obviously made the right call.

This was assuming Miller has beef with EP and the thread made it seem that way. I wanna call BS on that but I wouldn't know all the way from Tampa

Canucks traded Bo Horvat for the sole reason of building around Pettersson and Miller down the middle. They arent going to do a full 180 despite what Friedman is trying to clickbait you to believe.

Players that should be worried about being traded though:

Boeser
Hoglander
Silovs
Desharnais
Heinen
Prospects
Draft Picks
Never heard of the guy.

those of us nearby don't know either. dressing room and on ice drama has been happening to the canucks since right after the bubble. in all that time and after many incidents and rumours no coherent explanation or theme has emerged and nobody can say for sure who is driving it. about all you can say is that the canucks clearly made the right call in moving horvat and in naming hughes as captain. those moves have not completely eliminated the drama but the team is way more focussed on winning hockey games than it was and the drama seems to drop away when things are going well.

You can’t that

There’s a Miller cult in our fan base
Yes there is. Its funny how much shit Pettersson got while PLAYING through his funk for the last almost a year now.

Miller starts crap with teammates and then stops playing all together and everyone is sending him get well cards.

I personally don't understand it at all. Petey never quit on his team.

Struggling at a ppg pace. Still controls the play every shift and a monster defensively.

This doesn’t come close to the value.

Cozens
Clifton
Byram
1st
2nd

EP
Deharnais
Hoglander
For what he's getting paid a ppg is struggling
