Ahahahaha "Threatened to trade him if he didn't sign". You must be Patrik Alivin's wife ? Side piece? Please, do tell more and more of these super factual happenings that definitely happened.
Yea I guess Friedman was just lying about his super specific info that the Canes and Nucks were in trade talks about Pettersson to the point where Pettersson needed to make up his mind about where he wanted to be.

Team doing their due diligence does not equate to "threat" unless you are sensationalizing things.

It's going to be Rasmus Andersson 50% retained for Deharnais, Willander and Hoglander.
Unless the Canucks' front office has really soured on Willander, this would be a shockingly shortsighted trade for the Canucks. I don't think the Canucks expect to have to dump Desharnais and Hoglander as net negatives but even if they do a season and a half of Andersson @ $4.55 is worth so much less in the long run than the lottery ticket on pre-entry level Willander that Hogs and Desharnais would hardly begin to make up the difference.

Yea, except for the fact that Pettersson signed the week that report came out that the Canucks were in serious trade talks with Carolina for him. Doesn't take an absolutely gigabrain to do the math here.
