Rumor: Canucks making a move soon (JK x 2)

rutherford can pull the trigger at anytime.. just a matter of when. tmr or the weekend for all that matters.
 
This will likely turn into both Pettersson and Miller getting traded like Luongo and Schneider.

But if you ask me, I think the Canucks should keep Miller and trade Pettersson. Pettersson has more value and a team with a number-one centre can really use him. Where might be a good fit for him if you ask me would likely be Detroit.

But if Miller gets traded, I say the Rangers should trade for him.

only if you add jeremy bracco and nic petan.

marner extended for ep is the leafs deal to home in on. it would blow up this board for a month. i can't even imagine the cognitive dissonance required to be adjusted to restore reality.

Whats the point? They're basically the same player.

I'd pay whatever it takes to get Miller though. I'd love to see him yell at this pathetic group (Matthews, Marner, Nylander)

well we cant keep miller since in the past hes gotten into fights with Boeser, Horvat and now its Pettersson so it seems like he's the one with the history of getting into fights, (if its true)

Could they make it work capwise without including one of Toronto’s top forwards or Rielly?
 
Sorry but the only logical move the Canucks have is dealing Miller to the Rags. He already stated the only team he'll wait NT is for the Rangers. Him and Pettersson can't get along. So would you be wise to move a 31 yr old center or a 26 yr old C/LW??
Canucks have to realize they are in a tough spot. You aren't getting Lafreniere from the Rangers. But a package around guys like Chytil, K.Miller, Jones, Berard, maybe Othmann could work

I'm sure the Rangers would like to have Zibanejad or Lindgren for salary cap purposes. But who knows.
